Governance

Peterborough Pupil Referral Service Management Committee

Pupil Referral Units have slightly different governance arrangements to a mainstream school. As a Local Authority maintained provision we do not have all the delegated responsibilities that a mainstream school does. We have a fully delegated budget but receive support from the Finance Team in terms of operational management and budget reporting.

Our staff are employed by the Peterborough City Council and as such all our Human Resource functions are managed by the Council.

The role of the Management Committee is to provide consistent, high quality support and challenge to the Service Leadership Team whilst also contributing their individual knowledge, skills and experience to benefit Service and School developments.

At the current time the Management Committee meet in full every half term and there are no additional Committees.
